She is now spending a huge part of her profit on charity, battling poverty and diseases. The plot of the book was invented while she was on the train from Manchester to London. When the publisher has first agreed to print her book, she has awarded her 1500 pounds together with a friendly advice — to find a stable job. He was doubtful of the fact that the young author would be able to make a living off of writing books. Joann has showed the opposite - having written a series of exceptional fairytales, she has made the so-called non-reading generation get back to reading books.
